L'immensità

From the hand of the Italian screenwriter and film director, Emanuele Crialese, comes 'L'immensità', a drama that takes place in the 70s and stars the Oscar winner, Penélope Cruz. The cast is completed by Vincenzo Amato, Filippo Pucillo and Aurora Quattrocchi. 'L'immensità' places us in the Rome of the 70s, in a world that is halfway between neighborhoods under construction and television programs that are still in black and white, social achievements and family models that have become obsolete. The story of this feature film follows Clara and Felice, who have just moved into their new flat. Their marriage is completely finished and worn out: they no longer love each other as before, but they are unable to separate. The only thing that keeps them together is her children, in whom Clara pours all her desire for freedom. The eldest daughter, called Adriana, has just turned 12 years old and lives very closely the moods of her mother and the tensions that her parents experience every day, and that grow over time. Adriana rejects her name and her identity, she wants to convince her relatives and relatives that she is a man, and this situation causes the already delicate family balance to reach a breaking point between her members. While the children wait for a signal to guide them, be it a voice from above, or a song on television, everything begins to change around them and inside them.
