Director Pascar Plisson, wanted to make a documentary similar than his previous one 'Sur le chemin de l'école', nominated to Goya awards in 'Best European Film' category. So after meeting a young violinist in a train to Saint Petersburg, he decides to shoot four different children around the whole world.This film is much more than a documentary, is tells Albert, Nidhi, Tom and Deegii real story, four children who face a test.

'Le Grand Jour' is a hymn to effort, education and courage, that tells four stories of underprivileged children around the world -Mongolia, Cuba, India, and Uganda- trying to accomplish a series of requirements, between academic as much as personal, to change their destiny.
