Pratiban seems to live a quiet life running a coffee shop in Shimla. Everything changes when one night, a dangerous gansgter named Shanmugham breaks into the coffee shop and threatens to kill Pratiban's daughter, Chintu. At that moment, Pratiban murders Shanmugham and his bodyguard without a second thought.

Pratiban is arrested, and although he is released, he makes the front page of all the newspapers. That's when the news reaches Harold Das, another important gangster, this time from Telangana. Doesn't Pratiban look too much like his son Leo, who disappeared in 1999?

'Leo' is an Indian Tamil language film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, starring Vijay. It is part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe and is inspired by the 2005 film 'A History of Violence'.
