Who would have thought that this was a death trap? Surely the protagonist of this movie, Eddie played by Bill Skarsgård, wondered the same thing on several occasions. The character gets into a luxury SUV with the intention of stealing it, unaware that he is making a grave mistake that could cost him his life.

Veteran actor Anthony Hopkins plays William in this film, an elderly man who owns the vehicle and decides to take justice into his own hands by controlling the car remotely. He denies Eddie any chance of escaping from a perfectly orchestrated and planned trap that aims to end the life of the wrongdoer.

Eddie, trapped and with no way to escape, will try to flee and survive, fighting for his life and attempting to escape from the revenge that could end his life.

'Blindado' is the remake of the Argentine film '4x4' (Mariano Cohn, 2019), which already had its Brazilian version 'A Jaula' (João Wainer, 2022).

A psychological thriller directed by David Yarovesky ('Cuentos al caer la noche', 'El hijo', 'The Hive', 'A Funny Thing Happened at the Quick Mart'), with actors Navid Charkhi, Ashley Cartwright, and Michael Eklund completing the cast of this feature film, which premieres on May 30, 2025, and hopes to become the new English-speaking version of its predecessors.
