Plot
'Magnus' is a Norwegian documentary about the figure of Magnus Carlsen, chess' World Champion. The movie directed by Benjamin Ree follows the steps of Carlsen, who was a child prodigy and successfully become a chess genius. The Norwegian player achieved to become a International Grandmaster, the title given from the World Chess Federation, with only 13 years, becoming the third youngest person getting the title ever. In November 2013, Carlsen was crowned World Chess Champion, titled that he kept the following year, besides winning the other two most important tourneys of the sport. This documentary also stars Garry Kasparov and Viswanathan Anand, some of the most important figures from chess world.
