In a tumultuous Mediterranean of the 17th century, an old drifting ship randomly brings together two groups destined to distrust each other: a handful of Berber pirates and a contingent of captive Christians. Lost in a directionless sea, with no land in sight and no clear authority to guide them, both sides are forced to coexist in a fragile balance that threatens to break at any moment. What begins as a clash between enemies becomes a mirror of prejudices, inherited fears, and historical wounds that still bleed.

The musical shows how, in this floating microcosm, East and West observe each other with suspicion, each clinging to their faith, their memory, and their pride. The songs reveal personal stories that dismantle myths and humanize the adversary, while the collective tragedy of the Moriscos expelled by the edict of Philip III resonates like a shadow that unites seemingly opposing destinies. Aboard, those exiled find echoes in the pirates who seek to survive in a world that considers them renegades, and in the Christians who carry their own losses and guilt.

Trapped between the external storm and the internal one, the characters will discover that intolerance not only confronts them but also chains them to a past they must learn to understand in order not to repeat. On that lost ship, where no one owns the sea or the truth, the possibility will be born —timid, fragile, and unexpected— of an understanding that transcends borders, doctrines, and resentments. A song to the possible coexistence between two worlds doomed to meet.
