Plot
Laila (Kalki Koechelin) is a teenager who suffers from cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. She has always been a little rebellious and when it comes time, she decides to leave his home in the India to study in New York City. Then, something changes in her life. By surprise, she falls in love with a boy named Jared (William Moseley) and everything begins to have emotion. However, he is not the only person in her heart: Laila discovers his bisexuality when she begins to wish Khanum (Sayani Gupta), a blind pakistani girl. So it become a bigger problem when Laila choose to tell her mother what she feels for both teens and her interest in Khanum. 'Margarita, with a Straw' is a 2014 indian drama film directed by Shonali Bose, starring Kalki Koechlin.
