Matriarchy

'Matriarchy' is a dramatic greek film directed by Nikos Kornillios. Under the tittle of "Sixty Women, Seven days. One World", 'Matriarchy' focuses on the story of sixty women from different countries, different ages and different beliefs that join forces to avoid the clausure and the demolition of a Women's shelter, defending it as an indispensable element for the actual world they live in. During those seven days of protest, those women get together to confront all the problems that affects their daily lives: matters of society, economics, sexuality, maternity, work. Everyone of them fighting their own demons. At the end of the day, all these women get together to express themselves freely and share their life experiences.
