Mean Girls

The remake of the Broadway musical based on the original 2004 film 'Mean Girls' hits theaters. From the comedic mind of Tina Fey, this adaptation will be a new twist on the modern classic.

New student Cady Heron, played by Angourie Rice, is welcomed to the top of the social chain by the elitist group of popular girls called "The Plastics", ruled by the scheming queen bee Regina George, played by Reneé Rapp, and her henchmen Gretchen (Bebe Wood) and Karen (Avantika).

However, when Cady makes the serious mistake of falling in love with Regina's ex-boyfriend, Aaron Samuels, starring Christopher Briney, finds herself in Regina's sights. With the help of her outcast friends Janis, played by Auli'i Cravalho, and Damian, played by Jaquel Spivey, Cady sets out to take down the predator of the group and learn to be true to herself inthe most ruthless jungle of all: the institute.

Mean Girls leaves Lindsay Lohan's iconic film behind in a musical version with many other familiar faces. The film is directed by Arturo Pérez Jr. and Samantha Jayne, in her debut in this position. Additionally, Tina Fey, who is the screenwriter of the original film, returns in her role as Mrs. Norbury and Tim Meadows as Director Duvall.
