Plot
Set in a near future, this movie shows a society which is pestered by a contagious disease which turns the victims into insatiable carnivores. The only hope of humanity is a group of kids which are immune to the effects of the pandemic. The children are refugees in a militar base in a lost village from England. In that place the kids are studied, because they are able to think and feel although they have been infected and the scientists are looking for a cure. One of these children is Melanie, who is different because the future of the human race will depends on her.
Directed by Colm McCarthy, 'Melanie. The Girl with All the Gifts' will be released in the Midnight Madness section of the Toronto Film Festival 2016.Awards
