Plot

Luke Scott, Ridley Scott's son, embarks on this sci-fi film having his father as a producer. The screenplay written by Seth W. Owen was landed on the 2014 Black List of Best Unproduced Screenplays, 20th Century Fox bought the fees.

The film is about a corporate risk-management consultant has been hired for a new job and it has to decide whether or not to kill Morgan, an artificial being's life that was made in a laboratory environment. 'Morgan' alludes to the state where a human being has the capabilities to become a creator and that creation can be way better that the human being who created it. Luke Scott's debut as a director will star Kate Mara, Paul Giamatti, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Toby Jones.

Kate Mara, Paul Giamatti and Toby Jones were in at least one comic book movie. Mara was in 'Iron Man 2' (2010) and 'Fantastic Four' (2015). Giamatti was in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' (2014) and Jones was Armin Zola in 'Captain America: The First Avenger' (2011) and 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' (2014).
