The spy within

Juan Gutiérrez was a man who worked as negotiator for the peace between the terrorist organization ETA and the spanish government. Roberto was an agent from the CNI which infiltrated in Juan's life without his knowledge, spending many years along with him while he was working for the secret services. 'Mudar la piel' is the story of this peculiar friendship and how it was been forging although Roberto's betrayal, but also is an approach to the spy's image, who afterwards was tried for treason and whose identity never was entirely clear.

Ana Schulz directs his first movie with Cristobal Fernandez ('Diary of a reflection') and whose protagonist, Juan Gutierrez, is actually the director's father.
