No todo es vigilia

In this fiction-documentary hybrid, Felisa Lou and Antonio, a charming octogenarian couple, are confronted with the prospect of leaving their long-time home to move into an assisted living facility. Married for over 60 years, their bond is palpable, even if it often shows itself in fractious bickering and murmured complaints. As the action moves from the cramped and somewhat sinister hospital where Antonio is being treated to their home in a country village, the film doesn?t flinch from showing the multiple challenges they face ¬? both physical and emotional ? but consistently undercuts the pain and suffering with a droll sense of humor. Director Hermes Paralluelo is best known for his multiple award-winning 'Yatasto' (2011).
