Plot
Second feature film directed by Lara Izagirre, which obtained critical acclaim with 'An Autumn Without Berlin' in 2015. Shown at the Zinemira section in 68th San Sebastián International Festival. Nora (Ane Pikaza) is a 30 years-old woman and she still lives with her grandfather Nicolás (Héctor Alterio), from Argentina. The woman scrapes by with small jobs, such as regularly taking care of children of her friend Meri (Naiara Carmona) or writing the horoscope in the town magazine, from which she barely leaves. Her life is not exactly as she had dreamed it, as Nora wanted to be a famous travel writer.
One day, unfortunately, her grandfather dies. Heartbroken by Nicolás' loss, the old man bequeathed her an old Dyane 6, a van that was very popular between the 60s and 80s. Although she is a bad driver, Nora decides to embark on an adventure on the road, traveling all over coast of the Spanish Basque Country, to end up taking her grandfather's ashes along with those of her grandmother.
Soon, Nora will realize that the dream of becoming a travel writer was a chimera, because she is not a born traveler and her longing had nothing to do with her. In this way, she realizes that traveling was an excuse to give herself a chance in life to be free, grow, heal wounds and find happiness in herself.
