Notebook

A former naval officer named Kabir becomes a teacher at a school in Kashmir. He does it because otherwise the school would be in danger of being closed. The school in question is in a miserable state, but he will do his best to teach the children anyway. The whole plot and his daily life take a dramatic turn when he finds in the classroom a notebook left behind by an old professor named Firdaus. He will resort to reading that notebook when his wife breaks the heart with an infidelity. Apparently, his time in the war had ended by evaporating the love his wife felt for him.

This film is directed by Nitin Kakkar and starring Zaheer Iqbal, Prautan Bahl and Muazzam Bhat. It is the film debut of the main actors.
