Old Boys

'Old Boys' is the first work by director Toby MacDonald, who had already won a BAFTA award for his work on the short film 'Je T'aime John Wayne'. This film is a remake of the classic theatre play 'Cyrano de Bergerac', writtenby author Edmond Rostand. On this version, the story has been adapted to the childish context of a school, and the story centers around a nerdy studente, this film's version of Cyrano, as he tries to help a popular kid, and local sport hero, with his love life. But everything gets even more complicated for both of them when the main character realizes that on his efforts of helping his "new friend" he has started to fall in love with the same girl, as the other kid starts to worry about his intentions and if the girl is falling for him or his friend's words.
