One Night with Adela

'One Night with Adela' shows us the night of a woman who works as a night sweeper in the city of Madrid, her name is Adela. It is sad, empty and deeply disturbed. That night she decided, when her work shift ends, she will settle accounts with those she considers guilty of turning her into what she is, as she describes herself, a human ruin.

To give it more drama, Adela confesses her plans to a radio host and while she continues to communicate with her, she moves through the dark city. He also tells her that he is a taxi driver, not a sweeper. The radio worker tries to persuade the disturbed young woman not to carry out her sinister plans. That night will change everything, no longer enduring injustices.

The night for a woman is terrifying. The men harass her and try to surpass her. Adela is tired and wants to do something crazy to remedy all her ills.

The thriller is directed and written by Hugo Ruiz. Laura Galán is the protagonist of this story, who plays the unstoppable Adela. Galán was awarded the Goya Award for Best New Actress at the ceremony of the year 2022 for her role in 'Cerdita'. Also in the cast are Raudel Raúl Martiato, Jimmy Barnatan, Gemma Nierga, Fernando Moraleda, Rosalía Omil.
