Our Kind of Traitor

'Our Kind of Traitor' is a film directed by Susanna White ('Lie with Me', 'Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang') that adapts the novel of the same name by John le Carré. A young british couple formed by Perry (Ewan McGregor) and Gail (Naomie Harris) enjoy a holiday on the caribbean island of Antigua. However, the fun of both begins to disappear when they meet Dima (Stellan Skarsgård), a sympathetic rich millionaire. The situation takes a new dimension in the moment in which the man, who is actually fully inserted into the mafia and is a true specialist in money laundering, enlists the help of the couple with the aim of getting political asylum in their country. The plan consists of using Perry and Gail to act as an intermediary. Damian Lewis, Alicia von Rittberg, Grigoriy Dobrygin, Jeremy Northam, Mark Stanley and Pawel Szajda round out the main cast.
