Paternal Leave

Leo is a fifteen-year-old teenager who has lived her entire life in Germany with her mother, without knowing her father's identity. One day, she discovers the truth: he is Paolo, a man who left his life in Germany years ago and now lives on the northern coast of Italy, far away from everything he once knew. Without thinking twice, Leo decides to embark on a journey to find him and meet him. Upon arriving at a beach bar, she finds him, but what should have been a moment full of excitement turns into a meeting charged with tension.

Paolo is overwhelmed by the unexpected appearance of his daughter. His current life, which includes an established family and a fragile balance, is put to the test. Leo, for her part, is only seeking answers about her origins, but as time passes, the relationship between them begins to transform.
