Documentary directed by Lisa Immordino Vreeland, this document delves into the life of Peggy Guggenheim, American collector and patron of art and was the third wife of German surrealist painter Max Ernst. Guggenheim's life was not easy, daughter of Benjamin Guggenheim, a businessman who died in the sinking of the Titanic, the small fortune she inherited was small compared to their cousins. Soon she discovered her love of art. Tired of the US life in 1920 she moved to Paris where she became friend of the artists and writers of the avant-garde, many of whom lived in poverty in Montparnasse. After marrying Laurence Veil and later with Max Ernest, this woman through a large part of the most modern and artistic cities of the time: She lived in London, Marseilles, New York and Venice. A constant seeker of art, which she created one of the most comprehensive and avant-garde collections in the world.
