Pet Peeves

Carlo is a very eccentric watchmaker. He possesses a strange and curious ability: he seems to be able to influence what the inhabitants of the city where he lives do or do not do. He takes advantage of this tool to push his neighbors to their limits, challenging them to see if they are capable of taking control of their tumultuous destinies. 

The watchmaker participates in a group of self-contained stories: that of a hypochondriac who is misunderstood and whose life has turned upside down after receiving the news that he is going to die; that of a girl who cannot discern whether the romantic relationship she has with her partner is a burden or a blessing; that of a yoga teacher who leads a calm and comfortable life until a new neighbor arrives to disrupt her plans, and that of a vacation that had everything to be a dream but could end in ruin. Will the protagonists be able to overcome the small calvaries imposed on them by Carlo? 

Javier Polo directs ''Pet Peeves'', a dark comedy-drama whose script has been crafted by David Pascual, Enric Pardo, and Guillermo Guerrero. Leading the cast are Andrea Duro, Enrique Arce, Vito Sanz, Marta Belenguer, Pablo Molinero, Arturo Valls, Berta Vázquez, Javier Coronas, Rubén Bernal, Lorena López and Mamen García.
