Return to Seoul

25 years after France took her in, Freddie decides to return to the South Korean capital for the first time since she was adopted when she was practically a baby. Freddie's visit is not just a matter of tourism, the young woman wants to find her biological parents, no matter how hard it is for her. Despite being originally from there, Freddie doesn't know South Korea, nor its culture, let alone its people. The lack of knowledge of the environment and the complicated mission that she has ahead of her in Seoul will make Freddie face situations that she would never have imagined.

The filmmaker, half French and half Cambodian, Davy Chou adds with this his fifth title in his filmography as a director, two of them are shorts and the other three are feature films. The director and I enjoy a tremendous ovation with his previous work presented in 2016 ('Diamond Island'). Now, repeat the feat with 'Return to Seoul', the film has been premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and has subsequently had a successful tour of many festivals: Toronto Film Festival, New York Film Festival, Seville Film Festival, the Hamptons Film Festival , among others.

The cast of 'Return to Seoul' is made up of: Yoann Zimmer, Louis-Do de Lencquesaing and Ji-Min Park, who stars in this sensitive and revealing journey.
