Rider

Fío pedals through the city with her phone in one hand and a notebook full of notes in her backpack. She has a crucial exam the next day, the last one for the master's program that brought her to Spain, but she can't stop working: she is a rider and needs every order to survive.

Her mother, on the other side of the ocean, insists that she return as soon as her scholarship runs out, but what she doesn't know is that this scholarship never existed. It has all been a lie: Fío is supported by her grandmother's savings and the favors she has accumulated over the years. With official orders becoming increasingly scarce and rent breathing down her neck, Fío makes a risky decision: to accept a job outside the app, a delivery that doesn't appear in any records and involves transporting an illegal substance. However, when she arrives at the destination, things take a turn.

She is accused of keeping part of the contents, and what seemed like a quick solution turns into a real threat. 'Rider' follows the frantic journey of a young woman caught between two countries, two generations, and two worlds: that of academic promise and that of absolute precariousness. In an indifferent city, Fío must find a way to survive without losing herself.
