An ordinary man's life turns upside down - leading to excitement, intrigue and plenty of unexpected twists! Shakthi (Vishal) is a forest guide in the Indian town of Ooty. He's so devoted to his job that he has sacrificed his relationship with girlfriend Roopa (Sunaina). Eventually, it becomes too much and Roopa breaks up with him, leaving for Bangkok. Time passes and Shakthi goes on with his life - until a courier delivers him a letter from his ex. In the letter, Roopa encourages Shakthi to get on a plane to Bangkok and, overjoyed, he immediately flies out to meet her. At the airport, he makes friends with the beautiful Maya (Trisha Krishnan) - but this fleeting happiness is shattered on his arrival in Bangkok when a vicious gang suddenly comes after him! He's even told he's now a multi-millionaire! What is going on? As Shakthi delves further into the mystery, his journey becomes ever more dangerous.
