After years of silence and apparent normality, Sidney Prescott has managed to build a life away from Woodsboro. Settled in a small and peaceful town, her present revolves around her family and, above all, her teenage daughter, whom she has tried to protect from the legacy of violence that marked her youth. But when a series of murders shakes the community and a new Ghostface emerges following an unsettlingly familiar pattern, Sidney realizes that the past is never completely buried.

Fear takes on an intimate dimension when her daughter becomes the new target of the killer, trapped in a macabre game that replicates, distorts, and updates the codes of horror that Sidney thought she had left behind. As the town is consumed by panic, rumors and suspicions resurface, and the line between victim and accomplice becomes increasingly blurred.

Forced to return to the center of the nightmare, Sidney faces not only a masked killer but also her own fears, traumas, and unresolved decisions. In an environment where violence has become spectacle and the collective memory seems doomed to repeat itself, mother and daughter must learn to survive together, questioning inherited narratives and the myth of the “definitive ending.”
