The film is dedicated to Alain de Greef and Marcel Gotlib. Gorlib was a comic star and the director, Albert Dupontel was a huge fan of his comics and work in general.

Too much work

The role of Albert Maillard was originally to be played by Bouli Lanners who, due to overwork, withdrew from the project.
