'Selfie' is the story of Bosco. His father is a government minister who has just been arrested by the police. It is accused of corruption, embezzlement of public funds, money laundering and 18 more economic crimes.

Bosco's story ranges since being expelled from his luxurious villa in La Moraleja until he "squatters" a house of Lavapies. Since his perfect girlfriend leaves him, until an affair with a blind social worker begins. Since being expelled from his exclusive masters of business management, until he walks scared by the streets of his new neighborhood ...

'Selfie' is a film by Víctor García León that relates with a comical tone the causes and consequences that triggered the economic crisis in Spain. Starring Santiago Alveru, Macarena Sanz, Javier Carramiñana, Alicia Rubio and Pepe Ocio, the feature film illustrates the reality of many Spaniards since the recession of 2008, including cases of corruption, money laundering and manipulation of public funds. The film, which closed the official section of the Festival of Malaga, tells a part of the recent history of Spanish society alternating comical and dramatic situations, a style characteristic of the productions of García León as in 'Más pena que Gloria' y 'Vete de mí'.
