Señora influencer

'Señora influencer' is a Mexican comedy written and directed by Carlos Santos and starring actress Mónica Huarte in her first starring role. It is a production of Sastre Films released in Mexico in November 2023 and distributed by Cinépolis Distribución.

The story follows Fátima "Fati" Ferri, a woman in her forties that is suffering from an existential crisis, and decides to become a social network influencer. To everyone's surprise, "Fati" quickly becomes a viral sensation and gains a large sum of followers in all her profiles. Sofi and Camila are two young influencers who notice Fati when she makes a "like" in one of their posts and decide to meet her to try to take advantage of her popularity momentum.

They soon discover that a big part or Fati's popularity and fame is because of people who make fun at her, and they decide to do the same after inviting her to a party where everybody mocks her. What nobody imagines if that Fati is going to end up taking her haters very seriously. They are going to awake in her her most revengeful instincts. As the claim of the movie says, "they made fun of the wrong profile".

'Señora influencer' is produced by Fernanda Maza with music from Tomás Barreiro. Leonel García, from Sin Bandera, pens the main theme song of the movie, called "Nada".
