September Says

Aoife and Georgia are inseparable sisters. United since childhood by an intense and absorbing relationship, they share everything: games, secrets, their own rituals. But while Aoife, the older one, is impulsive, dominant, and emotionally dependent, Georgia begins to look at the world with different eyes. During a vacation with their mother on the west coast of Ireland, in a remote house where the wind blows fiercely and the sea seems to hold more than it shows, something changes.

Georgia's adolescence advances with silent but firm steps, and her sexual awakening —as confusing as it is inevitable— introduces a new distance between them. Aoife, unable to assimilate this transformation, clings to a bond that can no longer be the same, generating tensions that threaten to break everything apart.

'September Says' subtly and brutally explores the boundaries between fraternal love and emotional dependence.
