One ordinary night, the life of an average man takes a turn. A car crashes violently into the garden of his home. He, a reserved and methodical family man, rushes to help the injured, improvising as best he can, feeling for the first time the adrenaline of being useful amidst the chaos. But what begins as an impulsive gesture of humanity soon becomes something deeper, darker: an obsession.

After the accident, he is never the same. He buys a first aid kit. He learns first aid. He installs cameras pointing at the road. He spends sleepless nights waiting. Convinced that another accident will happen, that he must be there to save them. And when it does happen, he is prepared. And then, again. And again. His family watches with growing concern as the protective father becomes a stranger, consumed by an uncontrollable need to always be ready, to find meaning in the disaster.

As the line between hero and danger addict blurs like the dark night in which the action unfolds, the film explores the limits of trauma, the desire for control, and the fragility of mental balance. Is he really helping... or just feeding his own need to feel indispensable?
