Filming scene

One of the three main filming spaces was a set purposely built by a Belgian company specialized in industrial warehouses in the upper part of the Pradollano station, where one of the three fuselages of flight 571 was deposited.

Based on real events

It recounts the accident of Flight 571 of the Uruguayan Air Force in the Andes mountain range in 1972, in which a rugby team was traveling to Chile.

The second feature film based on the 1972 Andes plane crash incident, following the American English-language film Alive (1993).

Brief theatrical release

It will be released on December 15 in 110 Spanish cinemas before its streaming premiere on January 4. Spain has 3,521 exhibition halls and there will be provinces, such as Soria or Tenerife, that will not even have the opportunity to access viewing.

Bayona's return

J.A. Bayona returns to Spanish cinema after 16 years, when he debuted as a director with 'El orfanato' in 2007.

In the role of his father

Carlitos Páez, one of the survivors, plays the role of his own father, Carlos Páez Vilaró, in the movie.
