Something to Talk About

'Something to Talk About' is a American film directed by Lasse Hallström. Starring Julia Roberts and Dennis Quaid, the film premiered in the United States on August 4, 1995. Despite receiving mixed reviews, it was a relative commercial success, grossing $77.3 million against a budget of $30 million.

Quaid and Roberts portray Eddie and Grace King Bichon, a happy couple with a daughter who work at her father's equestrian school, Wylie King. One day, while driving home, Grace sees Eddie kissing a blonde woman. Grace then confronts Eddie, who lies to her, leading Grace to realize that Eddie has been cheating on her for some time.

Grace seeks support from her father during these tough times, but he only has time for his horse racing. Furious, Grace begins to investigate and discovers that her father was also unfaithful to her mother, Georgia, with several women. When Georgia finds out, she kicks her father out of the house. Faced with this situation, Grace and Eddie decide to sit down and be honest with each other to try to understand why their relationship has deteriorated...

'Something to Talk About' completes its cast with Robert Duvall, Gena Rowlands, Kyra Sedgwick, and Brett Cullen. Kyra Sedgwick received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film.
