Songs for Amy

'Songs for Amy ', directed by Konrad Begg, is a feel good love story that is inspired by the music scene West of Ireland. In contrast to the stunning backdrop of County Galway and across the Atlantic to New York, the story follows Sean O'Malley (Sean Maguire), an Irishman struggling musician who writes an album for Amy (Lorna Anderson) the love of his life, in an attempt to redeem himself. Through his music, Sean about personal issues and yet universal as love, loss, friendship, fate, hope and unexpected twists, all with the help and hindrance of some fellow misfits band. The film was screened at some American festivals in 2012 and was not released in Ireland until 2014.
