Starless Dreams

This documentary, directed by Mehrdad Oskouei, shows the deplorable situation of the girls who live at the Correctional and Rehabilitation Centre of Iran. The life of these women is marked by crimes, such as murders, theft, drug dealing and addiction. Despite the bad conditions of the prison where they live, many of the girls prefer staying there than living with their families. 'Starless Dreams' is a respectful portrait of the broken lives of these girls who try to recover their dignity.

This movie will be released at cinemas after being presented at international festivals such as the Berlin International Film Festival, the Melbourne Film Festival and the London film Festival.
