Sting

Charlotte, a rebellious 12-year-old girl, adopts a small spider found in her dilapidated building as a pet. Charlotte begins to have friendly interactions with the spider, but it begins to exhibit strange behavior. Defying all scientific logic, the spider begins to grow excessively at a very rapid rate, to the point of reaching gigantic size.

The problem arises when its size, as its appetite grows, becomes increasingly insatiable. Charlotte and her family are trapped and forced to fight it for survival, as the spider becomes a threat to everyone in the building.

Sting is directed by Kiah Roache-Turner, who has also directed horror short films such as 'DaemonRunner' (2017) and 'Wyrwood: Chronicles of the Dead' (2017) and being his last two films 'Wyrwood: Apocalypse' (2021) and Nekrotronic (2018).
