Super-Charlie

The dream of all children is often to become a superhero. Wille, this cheerful ten-year-old boy, is no exception as he sees his aspiration to fight evil alongside his father, who is a police officer, frustrated by the birth of his little brother Charlie. With the arrival of the new baby, Wille has to watch as all the attention and care goes to the youngest member of the family, who hides a secret that seems to be known only to Wille. It turns out that the newborn Charlie has superpowers with which he can combat evil.

This fun Swedish animated film, released in 2024, is now coming to our theaters. John Holmberg ('Strul', 'Sune - Best Man', 'Sune vs. Sune', 'Fallet' and 'Swedish Dicks') is the director of this movie, which he has adapted from the children's book by Camilla Läckberg ('Super Charlie'). It is a co-production between Sweden and Denmark, featuring production companies such as A. Film, Film i Skåne, Nordisk Film, Slugger Film, and SVT.

Orlando Wahlsteen ('Lea', 'Allt som blir kvar', 'Färjan'), Silas Strand ('Alla vi Karlssons', 'Håkan Bråkan', 'Vaka'), Sven Björklund ('Se oss flyga över scenen i fruktansvärda hastigheter', 'Det är vi som är hemgiften', 'Filip och Mona), Ulla Skoog, Tuva Novotny, Johan Rödin, Lily Wahlsteen, Joakim Jennefors, Annie Lundin, and Joakim Sikberg are the voices (in the original version) for this entertaining animated children's comedy.
