System Crasher

Benni Klaaß (Helena Zengel) is a System Crasher. That's how Child Service knows this wild 9 years old kid. She always has problems there where she goes. Benni doesn't care. She doesn't want anyone else but her mother Bianca (Lisa Hagmeister). However, she is afraid of her daughter and Child Service is looking for another permanent home for Benni.

'System Crasher is the second long movie directed by Nora Fingscheidt ('Brüderlein'). The scipt is also written by the directos herself. The movie features the child actress Helena Zengel. She has participated in other films as 'Die Tochter' y 'Looping'. The cast is completed by Albrecht Schuch ('Measuring the World', 'Mitten in Deutschland: NSU'), Lisa Hagmeister ('Counterpart', 'Tatort'), Gabriela Maria Schmeide ('The white ribbon', 'In Times of Fading Light').

The film has several accolades from different festivals. It get the Silver Beard in Berlin International Film Festival and Best Picture in Molodist International Film Festival, in São Paulo and in Vukovar. It was also awarded with Public Prize from Noordelijk Film Festival. The little Helena Zengel won Best Actress in SANFIC (Santiago International Film Festival) and Nora Fingscheidt earned the Audience Award in the Transilvania International Film Festival and the Grand Prize from the Taipei Film Festival
