Te protegerán mis alas

'My Wings Will Protect You' is a Spanish film directed by Antonio Cuadri and based on the homonymous novel by José Miguel Núñez. In the script, Cuadri collaborated with Pedro Delgado,  Claudio Crespo, and Isabel De Azcárraga. 'Te protegerán mis alas' tells the story of Wentinam, an orphan boy in the city of Kara, Togo, who lives on the streets. Wentinam will try to survive in complete darkness, amidst poverty and misery, until he finds a horizon in the "City of Boys." There, he will receive help from a Spanish missionary, Father Raúl, who will assist him in finding a path to redemption and, consequently, a better future. 

This is a hugely raw true story. It shows how Wentinam finds the path of Hope, thanks to the companionship and support of others. The boy gradually regains the direction of his life and discovers that Love is the greatest and most powerful force that will help him not to falter in his attempts to survive. 

'Te protegerán mis alas' stars Ibrahima Kone, Alejo Saura, Nacho López, Favour David Iyawe, Daniel Ortiz, Serigne Fallou Ndiaye, Carlos Abad, Jesús Garrido, Esperanza Torrejón, and Aurora Carbonell. 

Produced by Ulises Producciones and Odeon Media Entertainment and distributed by Maravillas Films, the film will hit theaters on November 14, 2025.
