Plot

After completing the filming of 'Paradise' in October 2013, the Indian director Bala said he wanted to do a project with one of his former habitual actors: Sasikumar, for the title role. The actor had to lose ten kilos for the film. In fact, the actor has agreed both with shaved character to look a certain beard and a thin mustache to actually seems a player Nadaswaran. The producer of the project is R.K. Suresh Studio 9 Media Works.

Soon he joined the project choreographer Pandian and Satish Kaushik joined to play a character in the film. Sha Kaavya actress debut in Bollywood films shot in the Tamil language, a native of India.

M. Sasikumar & Varalaxmi Sarathkumar had to train for a month with folk singers and dancers to mingle with their respective film characters.

The film's shoot took over 100 days to finish, while the makers had a three month break in 2015, owing to M. Sasikumar 's hand injury, which he suffered while filming the climax.

This film happened to be 1000th film of Maestro Ilaiyaraaja.
