After completing the filming of 'Paradise' in October 2013, the Indian director Bala said he wanted to do a project with one of his former habitual actors: Sasikumar, for the title role. The actor had to lose ten kilos for the film. In fact, the actor has agreed both with shaved character to look a certain beard and a thin mustache to actually seems a player Nadaswaran.
