The Bikes of Wrath

Five Australian friends travel from Oklahoma to California to honor John Steinbeck's masterpiece 'The Grapes of Wrath', in which a family did this same journey seeking for opportunities in the other side of the country. Looking for a better understanding of the novel's greatest themes and its relevance in current America, its main characters reflect about the development in America, the American Dream and the wealth gap. 'The Bikes of Wrath' centers itself in telling this real 30-days-story, in which these five Australians survive with only a guitar in their back, 420$ (the equivalent of the 18$ that the family had in the novel) and with the money they can get from their musical interpretations.
