The Boy

William Brent Bell directs this horror thriller in which Lauren Cohan gives life to Greta, a young American woman who takes a job in a remote English village. Mr. and Mrs. Heelshire receive the visitor with lots of instructions, many of them related to the boy of the house. The surprise hit at the time of the presentations when the newcomer discover that the couple's eight years old son is a life-size doll that has become the way of this husband and wife of dealing with the death of their son, who left them twenty years ago. The standards for the care of Brahms are very specific, but Greta, believing it is just a doll decides to skip them all. It's then when a series of inexplicable events plunge the frightened nanny in a nightmare that leads her to believe that the doll is really alive. Rupert Evans, James Russell, Jim Norton and Diana Hardcastle complete the cast of this film written by Stacey Waggle.
