Plot
Mel (Madeleine Sami) and Jen (Jackie van Beek) discovered 15 years ago that they were being cheated by the same man. They become close friends and founded a business called The Breaker Upperers. Since then they make money out of break ups, make a great team and don't involve themselves into any emotional relationship. But one they they met accidentally and ex-victim and this makes Mel doubt about what they are doing. Staring the two directors themselves, this film will be a great source of laugh, but also a reflexion about what a relationship is, our influence in it and the boundaries of friendship. Produced in New Zealand during 2018 and first released in USA is now being distributed by Netflix.
