The Confessions

A G8 summit is held in a luxury hotel on the German coast. The most influential economists have met. They are going to adopt a secret measure that will affect the world economy.

One of the guests is the Italian monk Salus, just out of a period of meditation. Daniel Roché invited him. Director of the International Monetary Fund. Roché wants to confess to him tonight and do it in secret.

The next morning they find Roché dead. They saw Salus come into his room the night before the murder and are now the prime suspect. He, refuses to break the secret of confession. Ministers are afraid that I will leak details of their plan.

At stake is more than the innocence of Roché, but Salus refuses to give any details of what he said in confession. Its silence threatens to disrupt the plans of the world's most powerful economists.
