The Dancer

This drama is focused in the figure of Loïe Fuller, a woman who was born in the West of the United States and who became one of the most famous dancers of the Opera of Paris during the Belle Époche. This woman who had a strong character, fight to be the first dancer, although her constant back pains and the lesion that she had due to the lights of the theatre. Everything will change for the main character when Isadora Duncan, a young dancer, comes to the dance company who wants to success.

Directed by Stéphanie Di Giusto, 'The Dancer' has been showed in some international film festivals, such as the Cannes Festival, the Munich festival or the New Zealand festival. The film is based in the homonymous book from Giovanni Lista.
