The Legend of Barney Thomson

Barney Thomson is the typical British man in town that doesn't have high aspirations in his life. A little awkward and shy lives quietly his daily routine as a barber in Glasgow. Considered by many to a man with a life of mediocrity desperate and uninteresting. Thomson doesn't know is that his reality is about to change completely. Almost in the blink of an eye, Thomson is a completely different situation to him, entering the grotesque and comic world of murderers in series, where nothing is what it seems. This is the debut of Robert Carlyle behind the cameras, and he makes it joined by a cast composed by Ray Winstone, Emma Thompson, James Cosmo and Ashley Jensen among others. Carlyle also stars the film.
