The Little Mermaid

'The Little Mermaid' begins with two young girls who listen attentively to their grandmother, who is telling them the story of the little mermaid. However, they do not believe anything that she says, until their grandmother decides to tell them a real story. Many years ago, a young reporter called Cam Harrison came to the surroundings accompanied by his sister, Elle. Both end up going to a circus, where they see for the first time a mermaid, who is trapped in a glass tank. Soon, the mermaid appears before her with feet instead of a tail, and both find out a prophecy that deals with a woman born on earth, but who has a mermaid heart. However, the problems arrive when a magician appears with the purpose of getting the soul of the mermaid and transform it into power. The film stars Gina Gershon, William Moseley, Loreto Peralta, Poppy Drayton, Armando Gutierrez and Shirley MacLaine, among others.
