The Mafia Kills Only In Summer

Set in Parlermo in 1969, this Italian comedy is focused in Arthur, a boy who was conceived in a street where a killing organized by a group of gangsters from the Nostra Coast took place. The life of Arthur will be marked by problems with the police and the justice. This movie is inspired in a real fact and tells the history of the Sicilian mafia in the 70s, 80s and 90s decades.

The cast is formed by Cristiana Capotondi, Pierfrancesco Diliberto, Ginevra Antona, Alex Bisconti, Claudio Gioè, Ninni Bruschetta, Barbara Tabita and Rosario Lismaen. Directed by Pierfrancesco Diliberto, 'La mafia uccide solo d'estate', won the Best comedy award in the European Film Awards in 2014. In 2013 it won two David di Donatello awards.
