The More You Ignore Me

'The More You Ignore Me' is based on the eponymous novel by Jo Brand, and focuses on young mum Gina who suffers with mental health issues that affect her ability to be a good mother and wife to daughter Alice and husband Keith.

As part of her syndrome, Gina soon becomes obsessed with the local weatherman, which leads to her admission into the local psychiatric hospital. As the years pass, Gina?s daughter, Alice attempts to re-connect with her mother, but things don?t exactly go to plan.

Despite the tackling of the important issue of mental health in this film, the level comedy in 'The More You Ignore Me' is by no way affected, making for a thoroughly enjoyable film.
