Plot

Two divorcees decide to live together in an apartment in New York, thinking they can click now their women have left them. However, they realized that the harmony is not what they have expected and they noticed that each other has different ways to manage home. Felix is very tidy and is cleaning the house constantly, while Oscar is able to mess the entire house in just a few seconds.

'The Odd Couple' is based on a theatrical play which the same name and written by playwright Neil Simons, who premiered it in 1965 under Mike Nichol's direction ('The Graduate'). This play was adapted three years later by Gene Saks ('Barefoot in the Park') starring Jack Lemmon (Felix) and Walter Matthau (Oscar) as the protagonist duo.
